Martin Celphane
Martin Clephane was born in Perth Scotland in 1970. He has spent most of his life in the North East of England and now lives in Tynemouth.
A fine arts graduate of The Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee, he worked as an artist and exhibited in UK and also Cyprus (whilst living there for a year studying painting) before going into teaching.
He is a Headteacher of a Catholic Primary School and religious themes and beliefs play an integral part in his writing. He has recently been awarded an Oxford Fellowship to do research into the nature of beliefs in the current context.

A series of murders take place in the North East town of Tynemouth, bearing the hallmarks of bestial savagery. Even in the 21st century, rumours of werewolves spread and the quiet coastal location is turned into a media circus.
Psychologist Dr.Sylvester McConait, lapsed Catholic and now confirmed atheist, returns to his childhood home to find himself, not only working alongside the police, but also the priesthood.
They are divided by their separate philosophies but united in their search for truth.
